There are several options for after-school care:
- Mrs. T’s Playcare program at Peirce, which is open from 7:15-8:15 AM and 2:00-6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and meets in Room 126. It is operated by Jane Torregrossa, who has over 20 years of experience working with children. For more information, contact Mrs. T at 781-316-3742.
- Arlington Boys and Girls Club (transportation offered from Peirce if enough children enroll)
- Arlington Center for the Arts
- Arlington Children’s Center
- Fidelity House (transportation offered from Peirce)
These programs are offered for part of the school year:
- Arlington Community Education‘s KidZone enrichment classes (grades 1-5) and GoLingo! language classes (grades K-5) are taught at elementary schools throughout town.
- Peirce School Chess Club (“Castle of Chess”) meets from November through March once a week after school. Enrollment is limited and registration information is announced in the Weekly Bulletin.
